Well nothing much is really needed to be said about what we've been killing on Sylph since our website speaks for itself.

I must say we're doing astronomically better than that other LS. The only thing left for us to kill now is Vrtra, which we'll learn not to accidentally CFH at 7%.

Scholar, Square-Enix's bastard child.

I love Scholar, as a sub. Honestly, it has a lot to offer. Light arts offers 10% MP cost down, 10% Fast Cast, Penury and Celerity, and some pretty animations. WHM is more versatile than it looks. Yeah /BLM and /SMN are pretty standard, but its uses are very limited.

What I have,when I use it:

BLM: Standard sub, I'll go to Khimaira for this for sure, Conserve MP isn't the most reliable thing, I think it just offers to me ES now since Sanction offers a Refresh already. Oh yeah warp, but it isn't hard to Teleport and walk.

SMN: Merit Parties, nothing more. /SCH literally replaces this for wyrms. Also Limbus for pulls and what not.

SCH: Golden sub, see above. Wyrms and some sea. Light arts gives +5 Barfire so NIN's can wear their Arhats gi and PLD's can wear their shit as well.

NIN: Kirin, Solo

WAR: Kings claimage since iiZerg took a heavy hit with Thetruepandagod out of the way.

DRK: Cerberus, I FUCKING LOVE WEAPON BASH. 5 second stun + negligible damage. And stun.

What I want to level:

BLU: Nyzul Isle

RDM: When SCH becomes ungimped, I'd definitely take this into consideration.


Gear:

So far all I really need is Salvage head and feet and some misc. shit.

Full time Cure V

Obvious improvements would be Hedgehog bomb, Einherjar neck thing full time, Star Sapphire ear?, HQ legs and body, and Star Sapphire ring. Some other shit as well, life Relics, Seveneyes, and I forget. I don't like carrying around too much gear, too much to think about.

We did Cerberus enough times where I really just ran out of interest posting about it. We ranked up 9 kills so far, 4 swords. Still have people fuck up on Gates of Hades order. Khimaira is simple. The first time TROGDOR claimed it, we killed it with a struggle because of NIN/DRK's and some other shit. I wasn't there. But the second time around was majesticly easy. With just 9 people we took him down to 50% without a struggle. BRD/BLM with an ES+Slow rapes this. Kimth and Warheit tanked it down without any real wiping problems. Tourbillion rapes, but thats ok! BRD/BLM WHM/SCH PLD/NINx2 RDM/DRK and a BLU makes this soooooooo easy. I for one never had any hate issues since PLD tanks just cured each other after Thunderstrike or whatever. So far, we've only received mats.









Just need AF2 feet and Ix'MNK cape.

I forgot I had a blog

Yep. Changed servers again to Slyph to be with the original Resurrection members that swapped from Odin. Lakshmi was nice, but I didn't do much, and now that I know what my schedule is with Slyph, I can work around and play around and fuck around conveniently. Nothing much more I want to say. WAR is 37, thus my ideal subs are done. BLM WAR DRK NIN 37. Now I just need to work on BLU RDM THF and maybe BRD sub, if not main.

With Wings of the Goddess rolling in next week, (which btw I'm really excited for...for once), I think I'll end up leveling Scholar. Dancer is also nice, but its it'll take a lot more work since I don't have SAM or THF leveled. Oh well, obligatory RDM-deviant job is always fun to play...

So in essence, job order I'd prefer to play:

WHM- I'll forever be the LS's WHM.
SCH- When we get Jext to come WHM and PROBABLY SCH will get a lot of use out of Errant and WHM gear, plus its staff/club main, come on.
SMN-I have a YYR for a reason, good to solo KS's with, and the random sea-encounter, thats it.

If I decide to drop out of school (in order)-
RNG-Love RNG for always and ever, but its expensive and time consuming, so fuckin' A.
BLM- It's 37, and I have gear for it.
RDM-With the new merits and shit, I can still master this shit in and out.
BLU-Looks and feels sexy, but time consuming
WAR-Fuck yeah its 37, I'd go WAR/NIN to 75 and not look back.
SAM-THF....
PLD-Yeah, fun job.
NIN-Yeah, but meh
DRK-If I get a Kraken, I'll adjust the order
BRD-Mundane, stop caring after a while, unless I get my tiara done.

Soloed 32-34, made my own gimp NIN DRK/NIN SAM/WAR BLM RDM(later BRD) WHM party. Selling all of my old DRK shit and Blessed hands (which was sitting in my MH anyway) got me a pair of Mahatma Pigaches. With this sale I ended up taking my AF head out of my MH and buying a 2k Ajari Necklace. Rounding my total MND+ to 50.

Head: To be fair, and on a budget. Errant/Mahatma head is technically better than Nashira Turban. Ugly as fucking sin, but still better. Why? Nashira only offers Enmity-5 and MACC+5 (for stun). Whereas Errant/Mht. offers MND+3/4 AND Enmity-5/6. It's a nice little debate, but I'd still keep the Nashira because it's free and not as fucking hideous.

Ammo: Hbomb. I'm too poor, deal with it. Next best thing is a Holy Ampulla which is MND+1 and like 3 MP less. Not worth buying, definitely worth camping.

Neck: Only thing I'd ever replace it with for normal curing would be the new Einharjer thing. But thats Einharjer, so fuck that in the butt.

Body/Legs: Obviously HQ would be "better"

Ring: Serket/Vivian/Vilma would be better.

Back: Errant capes are cheap! For now, Errant > Miraculous > Rainbow

Feet: The reason why I chose Mahatma Pigaches over Blessed pumps +1 is simple. Pigaches offer 3 great things, MP MND Enmity-. More MP, More MND, 1/2 less Enmity (but thats really negligible). AF2 feet is mediocre to cure in, same with Cure Clogs. Overall, its the best feet for my case. Marduk would be optimal for this, but thats salvage, and I'm not that homosexual like Aurik and Wafik.

Based on my lolCalculations (ffxiwiki's setup). Add the [boxes].
Healing Magic (291/3) [97] + MND (78+50) * 1.5 [192] + 430 +20% = 862.8.

Based on this gear
Carbon copy of my healing gear with Ajari and AF head swapped in for the +50.

Ammo: Ampulla would be prime for this, but at the same time I really don't feel like macroing in and out an Hbomb.

Head: AF+1 all the way, +3 more MND and hMP+1 = :D
Neck: Einharjer would be nice to keep in for this, but Ajari is best for now.
Ring1: Aqua.
Back: Miraculous because it's cheaper than Prism.
Feet: Optimal would be Marduk, but again, Wafik and Aurik, tsk tsk.

If I had my "optimal" gear I should be at.

97+210+430 * 22% = ~900.

Which is presuming I don't merit MND and Healing Magic.

On a side note: Lakshmi is quiet, too quiet.

Today I made the decision to leave Odin once and for all. Yes I will be taking Rene (Olorin) with me as my vessel into Lakshmi. It was hard to make a choice with his Character, but he knows as much as I do that I'm pretty much the transfered owner of the account now. I will keep Resurrection's first (and I hope one of many with Novio) Novia Earring as an item that I deserved since Ohem. I have done nothing but devoted my time to this linkshell in hopes to faithfully progress with whatever is left to do in this game. I came to the conclusion that it is time for me to not only leave the linkshell, but leave the server entirely because of the fact that I can't stand of the people I camp against.

To Hex: I have defended you and followed you every time I logged onto Ohemgee, Sartre, Blazes, Terican and Olorin. This move is by all means not a selfish attempt to get back at you, but to do whats best for my sanity since I wont be able to really play as much as you would want me to play. I have taught you how to do Kings, and well, to me, you turn it around and say the LS's efforts manifested itself into that. I do not regret what I am doing, and thank you for trusting me with Olorin's account. Yes, to some your losing your best WHM. But the 5 months that I spent playing WHM has shown me more responsibility amongst the others. To be fair, I wouldn't of made the decision if we didn't have enough people with WHM's leveled. If they can't do what I've been doing for 5 months compared to their entire time 1-75, then you need to make them better. It's really difficult for me to agree with you on recent events, due to the fact that they are friends of mine and are equal to you and I. At this point it really doesn't matter that he or she isn't in the LS anymore, but I hope you come to the understanding that people are people and we all need to have our needs satisfied. Just like me, I'm leaving to clear up my head as I take on probably the hardest years of school ever. Good luck and good health.

To Resurrection: You were my Linkshell. My only linkshell that I consider to be actually mine. I was gladly associated with you through whatever happened at Serket, Fafnir, or whatever. You guys have brought me up and helped me along the way as much as I helped you guys. I could never imagine myself in ANY other linkshell besides Resurrection, frankly nobody would accept me, and no, I really didn't care if nobody wanted me in another HNMLS at the time, and I'm not jumping boat because of it. Nice thing to come back from cutting up coconuts; knowing Cerberus is up and we claimed it.
I was the only WHM at the time until Fatally came (and we ended up tag teaming with Darkoh and Lheoric tanking). Went too smooth, resulting in no Algol. Regardless! Zero Gates of Hades, only Ed died while holding it. Plus, I never got drawn in. I also like Lheoric as a tank, he's more responsive and isn't afraid to cure others. On a side note, I think I'll be fully capable of solo stuns when it comes to /DRK. But I still prefer /SMN when I dont have double Refresh like I had today. Anyway, gimp shit but still worth fighting.


DRK Progress

I hate xping my sub jobs. Its only fun when your @750 on Lv36. That way you have a XP scroll guaranteed to level you AND a warp scroll to get your ass back to your home point. With that being said, I haven't really updated my progress, but I have upgraded to 26. I pretty much soloed 1-24 on Worms. When I get to around 30, I'll buy a pair of Archer's and forget about people for a while. Dual axe is fun, despite my shit damage and accuracy due to a B- axe skill, I really don't mind it. To be honest, WAR DRK RNG THF can easily be soloed 1-37. With that being said, I'll be xping THF 1-15 solo. Oh yeah, Qufim SUCKS ASS. Highlands, Maze, Korroloka are all easy to xp in. But Qufim is a death trap man. The fuck at this
